Im always passing this Costa on the bus and now Iv,e finally gotten round to painting it.
Here is my process step by step
Step 1 outline
I,m doing a simple pencil outline making sure I dont make the building too big. I then cover the sheet in a light blue wash to stand for the sky and adding a little yellow/orange for the sunlit parts.
Step 2
Painting in a glaze or undercoat to indicate the color scheme of the scene. I,m keeping to a limited palette of the primary colors.
Here I,m strengthening the tones overall and increasing definition.
